Yoga Team Selection for the World Yogasana Championships 2026 – India.

The United States Yoga Association is proud to announce the official Team USA Selection Process for the World Yogasana Championships 2026, to be held in India.

Call for Participants

We invite dedicated yogis and yoga athletes from across the United States to participate in the pre-selection round.
Participants must submit their performance videos and photos through our official online submission platforms.
Qualified athletes will advance to the USA National Yogasana Championships, where the final Team USA will be selected to represent the nation on the global stage.

Benefits for Selected Athletes
Athletes chosen to represent the United States will receive:
Free accommodation, meals, and transportation (hotel to stadium)
Entry fees, airfare, and additional expenses covered through donations and sponsorships
Free online Yogasana training classes to refine postures and meet international standards
Yogasana Referee & Judge Certification Course for teachers and coaches accompanying athletes

Opportunities for Yoga Teachers & Coaches
Yoga instructors and coaches are invited to join our USA National and Executive Yoga Team.
As a USYA member, you will have the opportunity to:
Train and lead yoga athletes within your state
Enroll in the Yoga Referee & Judge Course to become a certified official
Participate in our Yoga Teacher Training Program and contribute to developing future champions

Note: Your sponsorship and donation will help cover entry fees, player registration, and essential expenses required to operate our nonprofit organization. Contributions support athletes and program development, ensuring continued community impact. All payments must be sent through the official bank account of Yoga Association US for proper processing and accountability.
